Design for Change

Each and every Connection course is a bridge for students grades 6-8, the bridge connects students' content-rich studies to think creatively, build important social and presentation skills, and develop a crucial skill set to approach problems or challenges from multiple angles. The connection serves as an introduction to possible career paths, available at the high school, and in life beyond the classroom.

Connection courses provides time and space for students to explore being a leader and a contributor to problem solving beyond the stress and instruction of the academic classes.  The courses are designed to connect the critical skills and concepts taught in the academic classes by reinforcing reading, writing and thinking skills in the various contents of Art, Design, and Physical Education.
