Social Justice, Human Rights, Activism, and Advocacy

This course is an introduction to Social Justice. We are exploring the history and current reality of access, privilege, and power while we grapple with the resulting social problems. Your job this term is to become a COMMUNITY ACTIVIST.
You will research an area of society that you believe most needs SYSTEMIC CHANGE, and you will learn how to use your amazing brain, your beautiful heart, and your powerful voice in order to advocate for that change.
