COOPERATIVE LEARNING WORKSHOP

Cooperative Learning is a structured strategy designed to engage students interdependently in diverse groups. Participants will learn how to structure cooperative lessons that promote positive social skills, student's accountability, and better comprehension. This workshop utilizes the Kagan model and is geared towards content areas that emphasize quick checks for understanding, memorization, and content that is procedural in nature. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops.
