Public opponents
Some public opponents would be parents because there's a stigma around getting more mental health and getting help when you have an illness because of religion and other beliefs. Which causes some students to miss out on getting help they need or want. Unfortunarly, parents might beleive that their children are perfectly sane, and its just a "phase". However, most parents fail to realize that it is okay to have some problems mentally, how you go through it is what really matters. We want to help the students, and not letting the professionals help the children in dire need of assistance could end up seriously hurting them in times of need.
Government opponents
A Government opponent would most likely be some republican parties, many republican parties don't especially believe with mental health, and assumes its unnecessary and "imaginary". Adding mental health help in schools, might make some of the politicians assume that schools are , "indoctrinating", their children with false beliefs. Having any sort of political parties against us would be a detrimental hit on our policy which would hurt us intensely. We might have a chance of convincing them by showing, and telling them how the mental health help would sooth and assist children that truly need help, and that choose to go meet the counselors and psychologist. Giving children the ability to talk to adults that are willing to help them isn't a crime.
