The Allen School Student Organizations Closet is located in the Gates Center Undergraduate Commons (must be an Allen School student to access the Commons). The closet itself is located in the back left corner of the space, directly across from the small kitchen nook. This closet is open for usage for all Affiliated Student Organizations. Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines below in regards to how to interact with the closet.
Each Allen School Affiliated Student Organizations will have one officer who is responsible for the key during the academic year. More details will be shared during the Kick-Off Event at the beginning of the academic year. Allen School Affiliated Student Organizations are expected to return the key at the end of the academic year.
Ensure the closet is clean and accessible at all times (e.g. no clutter / boxes left in the open).
Do not move the ladder out of the space.
Please properly store all food items in the plastic bins provided. Please do not leave food out (we have mice in the closet!).
Do not leave trash/recyclables in the closet.
Return item(s) to their proper location.
Do not leave personal belongings, or any items you don’t want others to utilize, in this space.
Label all items and/or bins (utilizing blue tape).
Any items in a bin that is labeled by/for a specific Student Organization, should not be accessed and utilized by any other Student Organization.
When managing heavy items / top shelf items, work with a staff member to ensure proper safety. Do not remove heavy items on your own.
