Beggs Welds His Way to First

Justin Beggs, a junior at Cranberry High School, earned 1st place in a welding competition at the Steamfitters Local 449 Training Center in Harmony, Pennsylvania, part of the American Welding Society (AWS), Pittsburgh Section.

Pullin 4 A Purpose

Cranberry High School will be hosting its 2nd annual charity volleyball tournament on Wednesday, April 17th at 6pm. The Senior High Student Council decided that this year’s beneficiary is PA Pullin 4 A Purpose, a non-profit organization that hosts events to support families of children with life-threatening illnesses. Marley, a beautiful Doberman Pinscher and Labrador Retriever Mix, came into the shelter when her owners could no longer care for her. She is currently the longest canine resident at the Venango County Humane Society, being there for 307 days and counting. Read more
