Cranberry High School will be hosting its 2nd annual charity volleyball tournament on Wednesday, April 17th at 6pm.

The Senior High Student Council decided that this year’s beneficiary is PA Pullin 4 A Purpose, a non-profit organization that hosts events to support families of children with life-threatening illnesses.

“The student council voted to support that charity because they [the charity] support local students who are in need,” said Mrs. Motter, the Student Council advisor.

One of the families that Pullin 4 A Purpose is helping this year is the family of Mason Martin, a football player from Karns City who was injured during a game earlier in the school year.

To raise funds at the event, there will be a basket raffle, a 50/50 raffle, and a serving challenge. People can donate a basket to raffle by contacting Maria Galletta (814-516-4344) or Rylee Coe (814-428-8539).

Admission is donation only.
