UA Local 12 Plumbing Apprenticeship (Boston, MA)
A 5-year apprenticeship program that combines classroom education and paid on-the-job training. It is administered through the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC).
Harold Brothers Training Institute (HBTI)
Offers in-person training for Tiers 1-5 to meet Massachusetts' requirements for becoming a licensed journeyman plumber.
Focused on classroom education and hands-on experience as per the Massachusetts plumbing code.
Coastal Career Academy (Fall River, MA)
A structured course designed for apprentice plumbers, including the 550 hours of classroom training required to qualify for the journeyman plumber exam in Massachusetts.
Students must hold an apprentice license and complete work under a licensed master plumber.

The Peterson School offers comprehensive plumbing courses across multiple tiers, from basic plumbing to advanced levels, designed to meet Massachusetts licensing requirements.
Locations: Woburn, Westwood, Worcester, Haverhill, and Turners Falls.
Minuteman Technical Institute offers a five-tier evening program designed to prepare students for the Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License exam.
The program begins with Tier 1, which is free for unemployed or underemployed individuals. Students must progress through all five tiers and complete apprenticeship requirements to qualify for licensure.
