Apprenticeship and Pre-apprenticeship
North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters
A 4-year formalized training program where apprentices mix classroom time with on-the-job training to properly prepare them to become fully licensed carpenters.
Provides construction training programs for youth aged 16-24, including pre-apprenticeship training, leadership development, and mentoring.
Minuteman’s carpentry program provides a 15-week pre-apprenticeship course in partnership with the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund.
Graduates earn certifications in OSHA-10 Safety, Fall Protection, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform operation, setting them up for further apprenticeships or entry-level roles in construction

An important note: the tuition for this school is roughly $27,000 for the carpentry program.
Financial aid is available and students can choose from various programs other than carpentry such as:
Bookbinding, cabinet and furniture making, jewelry making and repair, locksmithing and security technology, piano technology, preservation carpentry, and violin making and repair.
