Complete on-the-job training: 8,000 hours of paid, supervised electrical work under a licensed journeyman or master electrician
Pay can be anywhere from minimum wage to $20/hour or more
Complete classroom hours: 600 hours of approved classroom instruction, covering topics such as:
Electrical theory, national electrical code, wiring methods, electrical safety protocols, blueprint reading
Receive certifications through the apprenticeship program (OSHA 10 certification)
Take the Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician Exam
