Jordan Roldan

10-12 Guidance Counselor | Learning Community R

Mr. Roldan was born and raised in Jersey City (the heights neighborhood) in New Jersey. He played multiple sports in high school and was very active in the Asian/Filipino Students Association throughout his time as a student. He went on to play college volleyball at Ramapo College and competed on the semi-professional beach volleyball circuit. Mr. Roldan continues to play beach volleyball year round and currently coaches with the MIT Men's Volleyball staff. He also enjoys Olympic lifting and is certified as a USA Weightlifting Coach and Level 2 CrossFit Coach.

Mr. Roldan worked within Higher Education after finishing his first master's degree at Teachers' College, Columbia University and started working as a Saint Peter's Preparatory School as a college counselor. He moved to Boston 8 years ago after finishing earning a school counseling master's and licensure in NJ. Mr. Roldan is now a proud resident of Dorchester and lives with his wife, daughter Aurora, Smitty (dog 1), and Pierre (dog 2). “I am very pumped to be working with the CRLS Guidance Team!”
