Mike Tubinis

Mike Tubinis grew up outside of Rochester, NY and moved to the Boston area in 1997. He has been a school counselor at CRLS since 2008. Mike came to secondary education from the restaurant industry, in which he brought with him a wealth of knowledge in building relationships, triaging problems, and customer service.

Mr. Tubinis earned his bachelor's degree in History from the University at Buffalo and went on to earn a Masters in Education from UMass Boston where he focused on the mental health aspect of working with students.

Today, Mr. Tubinis loves working with students toward independence and life after high school. When he is not at work, all of his energy goes to his two daughters; Zoe and Lilly, two cats; Leia and Chewie, a dog; Bodhi, and his amazing wife; Anelise. In his spare time, he likes to read, cook, golf, coach his daughters in softball and basketball, follow Liverpool FC, and run.
