Rogette Solomon was born and raised on the island of Jamaica. At age 17, she migrated to Bridgeport, CT, to continue her education. Inspired by her high school guidance counselor's dedication, Rogette realized her calling was to support and empower students.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Monroe College and later achieved a master’s degree in Education from Southern Connecticut State University. While completing her master’s program in Massachusetts, she gained valuable experience through her practicum at West Middle School and an internship at Brockton High School, where she had the opportunity to serve as a long-term substitute guidance counselor.
Rogette joined Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) in 2022 and currently serves as one of the 9th-12th-grade guidance counselors. She is committed to helping her students achieve greatness and finds her role at CRLS deeply rewarding. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, spending time with her husband and family, and prioritizing rest.
