Fast fashion companies such as Shein and Forever 21 are growing exponentially in the fashion industry. The trendy, stylish clothes that sell for a drastically lower price than competitors have lured many teens to buy from these companies. According to Insider's Editions, companies just like Shein can keep their costs low because they exploit workers in third-world countries by barely providing a paycheck. The companies lure customers in by a point system. For example, Shein rewards their customers with points for every dollar they spend. Customers gain points by reviewing their orders or joining the company's live events. This tactic pulls in tons of customers, enticing them to spend more for more points. Hagerty Journalism called out Shein for copying small business ideas and fashion.

Lincoln Park High School's sailing team is wrapping up its 2021 Fall season. With the change in locations, the team has moved its practice from Columbia Yacht Club to Chicago Yacht Club this fall. This change in environment ultimately triggered many questions for the team, many of which surrounded whether or not it was worth the transition
