Throughout the fall, college admissions & other postsecondary representatives visit Senn to meet with prospective students.
These small-group sessions are one of the easiest ways to connect directly with the person who may actually read your college application!
All grade levels are invited to attend, though high demand visits will be limited to seniors.
Review the calendar to the left and sign up for a visit in SchooLinks (reference our SchooLinks page for instructions). Schools are added continuously so please check to see if any new ones are added.
Please sign up for a visit by 3pm the day before.
Students will receive a pass to attend the visit in their first period class. If they are missing class for the visit, they'll need to get signed teacher permission to attend.
All visits will be held in Room 115 unless otherwise indicated. Students must arrive within 10 minutes of the start of the session or they will not be permitted in. Late arrivals are highly disruptive.

An Admissions Briefing: Reps give a short presentation about their school’s programs, campus life, financial aid, and admissions requirements.
Q&A Session: You get a chance to ask specific questions about the application process or student life.
Direct Connection: You can introduce yourself, share your academic interests, and exchange contact information.

Meet Your Regional Admissions Officer: The rep visiting your school is often the primary application reader for your geographic area.
Demonstrate Interest: Many colleges track who attends these visits, which shows them you are serious about applying.
Save Travel Time: Get direct answers to your specific questions without needing to leave your high school building.

Sign Up Early: Sign up in SchooLinks to see who is visiting and register in advance. Schools are added on a rolling basis and space is limited. Schools like DePaul, UW-Madison, and UIC fill up quickly.
Get Teacher Permission: If the visit happens during class time, you will need teacher permission.
Bring 1–2 Questions: Skip basic questions found on Google and ask about specific programs, campus culture, or financial aid tips.
Say Hello: Briefly introduce yourself, mention your major of interest, and thank the rep before heading back to class!
