Transcripts

Your transcript is an official record of your academic performance in high school. It includes your semester grades, classes, rank, attendance, and overall GPA. It is one of the most important factors in the admission process.

Transcripts are only updated once a semester and contain your overall grade for the semester, not your quarter grades or progress reports.

You can double check to see if your transcript has been submitted by clicking into a specific school on your College Application manager.

If it has been sent, there will be a green check mark and the date it was sent or received by a college.

Transcripts & College Applications

Transcripts my be submitted officially by Senn for them to be accepted as part of your college application.

In SchooLinks, some documents are automatically requested once you add schools to your College Application Manager in SchooLinks.

Those are:

School Report & Official Transcript
Counselor Letter of Recommendation
Mid Year Report
Final Report & Transcript
Fee Waivers

The counseling team works to send out these documents around big deadlines: November 1, end of semester 1, and after graduation.

Many college portals are slow to update and it can be up to two weeks before they verify that they've receivied your transcript. You may continue to get automated emails asking for a transcript even after it has been sent.

Access your Transcript

Students can download an unoffical copy of their transcript OR send an official copy to a scholarship program or internship in SchooLinks.

In order to access your transcript,

Log into your SchooLinks account (alumni who graduate after 2025 will also have access to SchooLinks)
On the left hand column, select "School" > "Record Requests"
Download an unofficial transcript for your own records

Select "send official transcript" and enter the destination for it to be sent. You can either choose a specific college or enter an email.

Self Reported Academic Records

Many large universities require a self-reported academic record (SRAR) in addition to your transcript.

This means you must manually type out every grade and every class you've taken in high school. You must report grades exactly as they appear because they will be double checked with your official transcript.

The SRAR must be submitted close to the application deadline or else your application will be canceled.

Schools that require the SRAR include: Univ of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, UW-Madison, University of Southern California
