Parents + Guardians do the health screener before you get to school. If you forget, you can fill it out on your device up until students enter the building.
Parents who have electronic communication set up with CPS should receive a text from CPS every morning your student will attend school with a link to the health screener, specific to that student. If you have multiple children enrolled, you will get a link for each child. If you don't receive a text or the link doesn't work, you can always fill out the screener at cps.edu/healthscreener You will need to know either your student's CPS email OR student ID number. Reach out to the main office if you are not receiving the texts or need your student's ID or email info.
Make sure students have their masks for the day
Students that already have a CPS issued device should bring them with to school. No Personal Devices! Students that did not check out a device previously, will be able to use a chromebook that will stay at school.
Water bottles and Lunches (if bringing a home lunch)
Headphones and any other material your homeroom teacher has asked for
If the weather is bad, students will have indoor waiting areas
Step 4: Check-in with staff
Staff will see if your child has passed the health screener for the day
Temperature Check - must be under 100.4 °
Parents please stick around until your child is checked-in and you get a confirmation from staff. If you leave before this and forgot to do the health screener, your student will wait at a designated area until you are able to complete the screener. If you leave before check in confirmation and your student has a fever, you will be called by the office to return to the building for pick up.
***Please note! Quarter 4 Line Up Areas for your child's class could change, please check the updated line up maps.
