5.2 - Importing Files from Parts Vendors

Overview

When working on Mechanical designs, it is very common to use COTS (Common Off The Shelf) parts. Many vendors provide options to download CAD Files for the parts.  Here is a list of common Vendors we use in Engineering and Robotics.

Activity

In this activity we will review how to download a part from a vendor and import it into Fusion 360. Then we will modify the parts to make them more functional for our model.
