Did you know that there are patron saints for most anything, even the internet? “Patron saints” in Catholicism are venerable women and men from throughout history who are heavenly advocates for places, professions and people. It is good to know that in the oddest of times there are saints who we can turn to as an aid on our way. In this time when we are leaning heavily on the internet, it is good to know who to turn to for continued support.

These self-directed Learning Engagements are designed to accommodate candidates where ever they are on the Catholic leadership learning journey and extend or push learning. Each Learning Engagement allows for candidates with entry level experience through to expert level.

Responses to the Learning Engagements in PQP Part 1 and Part 2 along with relevant course content/assignments are to be used to create the ePortfolio which is presented during the "One-on-One Presentation" (due at the completion of PQP Part 2). Candidate voice and choice is embedded throughout the 5 modules. Candidates have opportunities to challenge knowledge, skills and attitudes by selecting alternate (in consultation with instructor) or more challenging learning engagements in each module if necessary.

In PQP Part 1, Candidates begin to create their ePortfolio by completing either Learning engagement 1 or 2 for each module. By the end of PQP Part 2, Candidates will have completed two different learning engagements in each of the 5 Modules (10 in total).

Connected Leader responses are intended to develop digital literacies by exploring various online pedagogies, platforms and technologies in Catholic schools.
