Instruction & Services
I provide both instruction and professional pilot services. I instruct at West Valley Flying Club (WVFC), but I am also available on an independent basis. I fly a variety of makes and models, ranging from the most popular aircraft from Cessna, Cirrus, Diamond, and Piper to more advanced aircraft from those manufactures as well as from Beechcraft, Mooney, Pilatus, and others.
Here are some of the services and training that I offer:

[Note that an IPC must be done in an aircraft, flight simulator, or Flight Training Device (FTD). An Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) is not sufficient for the IPC since an AATD is not approved for the Circling Approach, Landing from a Straight-in or Circling Approach, or single-engine (for multi-engine) elements.]
Instrument Currency Flights - FAR 61.57(c)
[Note that, in contrast to an IPC (above), instrument currency may be MAINTAINED by using an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD).]
AC 61-136B - FAA Approval of Aviation Training Devices and Their Use for Training and Experience
Phase Checks
A phase check is basically a mock checkride to help evaluate a student before taking a checkride or crossing a significant milestone during training. The documents linked to in the list below are for the formal West Valley phase check process that applies to the solo, cross-country, and private pilot phase checks (the other phase checks are a good idea, but optional). Members taking one of these formal WVFC phase checks are encouraged to read the WVFC phase check instructions to better understand the process. I am also happy to provide this same phase check service for non-WVFC clients.
Solo Phase Check (You should complete the Solo Quiz before taking the phase check)
Private Phase Check (You should complete the Private Pilot Quiz before taking this phase check)
Instrument Phase Check (You should complete the Instrument Quiz before taking this phase check)
Commercial Phase Check (You should complete the Commercial Quiz before taking this phase check)
