Your Day Starts in Homeroom
Your day starts in homeroom at 8:00 AM. Make sure you're on time because the tardy bell rings at 8:15 AM, and your first class starts at 8:25 AM.

All 6th-grade academic classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Science) are located in the 300 hallway. That’s your home base this year!

You’ll take all of your classes with other 6th graders only. That means your classmates are all going through this big transition just like you.
Lunch Time

6th grade has lunch together too! There are designated tables just for your 6th grade class, so you'll always have a spot with your classmates.

You’ll be assigned to one of three 6th-grade teams, and you’ll have the same group of teachers for your core subjects all year long. This helps your teachers get to know you and work together to help you succeed.

Don’t worry if you’re feeling unsure about where things are. You’ll take a walk-through tour during the first few days of school. You’ll meet the Principal, Assistant Principals, Counselors, Office Staff, and see where your Connections classes will be.
