What time does school start/end?
Students are late to school if they arrive in homeroom after 8:15 am.
Students are dismissed for the day at 3:25 for car riders and 3:30 for the bus. Students need to be picked up by 3:30 each day.
What team is my child on?
Students are assigned to an academic team. This will be available for you to see on July 30. We do not accept requests for team placements.
Do you have advanced classes?
No, students are randomly placed in classes based on academic performance and standardized test scores. We do not accept requests for team placements.
When does my child eat lunch?
Please review the bell schedule. It is different for every grade. Visit SchoolCafe for meal payments and Free & Reduced School Meal Application
What if my student needs something throughout the day or forgot something at home?
Students can ask for a pass to the front office to call home for emergencies. Parents are welcome to drop items off in the front office that their student needs to pick up. We do not call students out of class to pick up items, but rather, will notify them to come to the office during class transitions to retrieve items.
My child will be riding the bus. How do I know the bus they will ride in the morning and/or afternoon?
By visiting the Coweta County Schools website and then clicking departments and transportation, you will find a list of all buses that will be coming to and from ECMS each day. The spreadsheet is based upon your home address and students can only be transported to their current address listed in Infinite Campus.
How do I know when a bus is going to be late?
The Coweta County School System Transportation Department is using the Bus Bulletin notification system to notify parents and students when there are bus delays and schedule changes.

How do I keep up to date with my student's progress in their classes?
Students and their parents/guardians have access to the Infinite Campus portal. Please see the directions in module 10 for information on how you sign up. Please contact your student's teachers if you feel that your child is struggling.
How do I change my child's transportation during the day??
Please complete the change of transportation form. All transportation changes will be verified.
What should I do if I feel overwhelmed or stressed?
Reach out to the school counselors for support or to any trusted adult. They can provide resources and strategies for managing stress and balancing your responsibilities.
