Accessing the room reservation system
Log on to Room reservation by going to https://home.mynsm.uh.edu/
Enter your cougarnet user id and password and click the ‘Login’ button
Click on the “Reservation” Button
Making a Room reservation
Log on to Room reservation by going to https://home.mynsm.uh.edu/
Enter your cougarnet user id and password and click the ‘Login’ button
Click on the “Reservation” Button
Select Room Number from drop-down menu
Enter date “From” and “To”
Enter Reservation "Description”
Specify if the reservation is “Recurring"
Click the Reserve button
An e-mail will be sent to you and the room reservation approvers. If prior approval is required, the reservation process will not be complete until you receive an email from the approver
Deleting a room reservation that has been approved
Log into MyNSM Reservation at https://home.mynsm.uh.edu/reservation/
Select the “Room” option under “My Requests” in the top menu.
Select “Approved” from the “Status” drop-down menu and select room number from the “Room” drop-down menu.
Click the “Search” button.
The system will display the reservations that have been approved.
Find the reservation that you want to delete and click the Reject button (red circle with a white X), the reservation will be deleted.
Approving a reservation (getting the status to move from pending to approved)
Log into Reservation at https://home.mynsm.uh.edu/reservation/
Select the “Room” option under “My Approvals” in the top menu.
Select “Pending” from the “Status” drop-down menu and select room number from the “Room” drop-down menu.
Click the “Search” button.
The system will display the reservations that require approval and that your role is allowed to approve.
Find the reservation that you want to approve and click the Approve button (green circle with a white check mark) next to this reservation.
Note: If you click the Reject button (red circle with a white X), the reservation is assigned the status of "Rejected.”
The Reservation status will automatically change to Approved and a notification email will be sent.
