Data Requests and Data Sharing
Requesting Data from CACTC
CACTC has or has access to unique local data sets, most notably the annual youth survey data. We are happy to share these with community partners, but we do have a request process and usage agreement in place. If you are interested in exploring any of our local data sets, fill out the request form below:
Help with Data Sharing
CACTC can also help facilitate data sharing between other agencies. We have a template data sharing agreement, and are happy to meet with partners to discuss customizing this for any specific needs. We also have existing relationships with many local agencies and can use that network to try to help you find data we don't have.
Some things to keep in mind when writing a data sharing agreement:
be explicit about what data it applies to (what kind of data, from what time period, from what sources, etc.)
be explicit about the agreement's duration (does it expire? what happens to the data after that time?)
be explicit about what the data can be used for (will any third parties have access to it?)
be explicit about data security (can the data be stored in cloud storage like Google Drive?)
