Who we are
Engaged IoT works to improve energy and environmental efficiency in areas with limited network connectivity using IoT-enabled devices. Our mission is to foster a connected network of user engagement through a centralized dashboard that allows users to monitor their energy and environmental performance while measuring against others within the network, and to promote energy and environmental efficiency education both here at Cornell and in the local communities of participating users. Our team is segmented into three highly collaborative subgroups: our Hardware Team focused on assembling our IoT devices, our Software Team dedicated to working on our team's website and dashboard, and our Engagement Team focused on establishing and maintaining strong connections with all of our users.
