Cornell Hyperloop's mission is to advance the development of Hyperloop.

Hyperloop is an Elon Musk proposed mode of passenger and freight transportation, a frictionless, vacuum-sealed tube system through which a pod travels at speeds exceeding 600 miles per hour.

We are working to revolutionize travel by developing a Hyperloop pod from conceptualization and aiming to compete in SpaceX’s annual Hyperloop competition this summer against the most prestigious universities across the world.

Our project is comprised of three teams, business, electrical, and mechanical; each of which has sub-teams: braking, business development, hardware, propulsion, software, suspension, and website development.

• We are now accepting freshmen applications (to begin contributing next semester) for each of these sub-teams.
