The Testes are a part of the male reproductive system. They produce gametes(sperm) and hormones(testosterone ,inhibin). They are made up of Seminiferous Tubules,Sertoli cells; Leydig cells.
The scrotum is a part of the male reproductive system that houses the testes externally and is involved in temperature regulation. The scrotum contains the skin and Tunico Dartos.
The Tunica Dartos is deep in the scrotum where it acts to regulate the temperature of the testicles which promotes spermatogenesis.
The scotal fascia is a layer deep in the scrotum made of connective tissue.
The Parietal and Visceral Vaginal tunics form one seamless sheat. The parietal layer which lines the scrotal wall and septum and a visceral layer which covers the scrotal contents.
The Tunica albuginea makes up the connective tissue framework of the testis. It conists of three connective tissue layers and an outer surface covered by mesothelium.
The mesothelium is a part of the male reproductive system that covers the outer surface of the Tunica albuginea.
Epididymis
The epididymis is a critical organ of the male repriductive system. It functions as the site of sperm maturation and storage. The sperm become concetrated in the epididymis.
Spermatic Cord
The spermatic cord suspends the testes, houses nerves/vasculature,and is involved in temperature regulation. It contains the Cremaster muscle,Ductus deferens, and the Pampiniform Plexus.
Pampiniform Plexus
The pampiniform plexus goes hand and hand with the spermatic cord. It is composed of vasculature, nerves, and lymphatics.
Ductus deferens
The ductus deferens are a thick walled tube in the male reproductive system that transports sperm from the epididymis, where the sperm are stored prior to ejaculation.
Ampulla
The ampulla is a gland that is an enlargement of the terminal portion of the ductus deferens and consists of branched tubular or tubuloalveolar glands.
Vesicular gland
The vesicular glands are accessory sex glands that secrete fructose, citric acid, proteins ,and prostaglandins. They are regulated by the androgens and prolactin. They can also be called seminal vesicles.
Prostate
The Prostate is an accessory sex gland that contains citric acid, lipids, and enzymes. It is regulated by androgens and prolactin.
Bulbourethral gland
These glands can also be known as Cowper's glands and they produce mucus and mucoproteins. They also form pre-ejaculate and they lubricate the urethra.
Penis
The Penis is the male copulatory organ which consists of a Base/root,shaft,glans,and penile/spongy urethra. In the case of a calf it would be a fibroelastic penis that doesn't have a lot
Sigmoid Flexure
The sigmoid flexure is an anatomical structure that provides a means by which the penis is held inside the sheath except during time of service.
Corpus Spongiosum
The Corpus spongiosum is the much smaller region around the urethra.
Corpus Cavernosum
The corpus Cavernosum is the larger region surrounding the urethra.
The Penile shaft is also known as the body of the penis and extends from the tip to where it connects to the lower belly.
The glans penis is the distal part of the penis allowing for semen and urine to exit the body through the urethra.
The penile urethra moves semen into the penis. This is the longest portion of the urethra. It spans the entire length of the penis.
