External Anatomy

The hair of the Bovine is located on the surfaces of the skin. It protect the animal from the external environment and provides insulation. Hair is also important in temperature regulation

This is the body part that the Bovine walks on. It is located on the most distal part of the leg. In the Bovine the hoof is separated into two parts due to the fact that their metacarpals and metatarsus are fused into the forth and third Metacarpus and Metatarsus.

The skin is the most superficial organ that protects the internal organs and muscles of the animal. It is also an important immunity barrier. Within its layers, nerves, blood vessel, and hair follicles are located.
