The somatic nervous system is a part of the peripheral nervous system and is involved in voluntary movements.
The autonomic nervous system is a part of the peripheral nervous system that controls involuntary systems like heart rate, digestion and blood pressure.
The ENS is a part of the peripheral nervous system that plays a key role in digestion. Neurons spread throughout the digestive system and is commonly known as the "second brain".
