The gallbladder is responsible for the storage and concentration of bile. Cholecystokinin is the hormone responsible for gall bladder stimulation and contraction to release bile. 

The cystic duct connects the top of the gallbladder to the common hepatic duct. This is duct through which the bile empties into the duodenum.
