The spinal cord is responsible for transmitting information from the brain to the remaining body. Running down the spine, it is divided into the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine.
The brain is the main organ in the central nervous system. It is divided into three parts: the cerebellum, the cerebrum, and the brain stem. It is responsible for all cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes.
