This is a position paper that discusses the controversy of practicing the keto diet to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. The paper indicated both views of using the keto diet and what advantages and drawbacks of this diet. However, the keto diet is not recommended to use in the clinical setting to prevent cardiovascular disease due to a lack of science-based evidence and clinical trials. During my advanced nutrition course at Concordia, I have done a research paper that discusses whether organic products are more beneficial to human health than conventional foods. This literature review aims to support and provide nutritional differences information between organic foods and traditional foods for the readers. As a result, they can purchase products that align with their needs and financial status.
