Reading and Writing
Reading and Writing
In reading students are focusing on reading and writing about Tales and stories from around the world. They are enjoying learning all about fun adventure stories!
Phonics
Phonics
In phonics we are focusing on silent letters, adding commas, and spelling words in present and past tense.
Math
Math
In Math, we are Reviewing addition and subtraction within twenty as well as place value within 120. We are wrapping the year up with our fun financial literacy unit and learning all about spending, saving, and donating.
Science
Science
In Science, we are learning all about ecosystems and life cycles. We are learning about parents and their young as well as the needs of living things.
Social Studies
Social Studies
In Social Studies, we are learning all about needs and wants. We are learning about the roles of banks in our community. We are focusing on how economies and communities function. We are continuing to review how to be a good citizen in the community and ways to help others in need.
