We cannot believe we are in the last month of school! It has been such a wonderful year at Ride Elementary.

Reading
Reading
Students continue to work on prereading skills. They are learning the concept that letters work together to make words, and words work together to make sentences.
Writing/Phonics
Writing/Phonics
Students are working on letter formation, recognizing letter names and sounds. Our letter focuses for this month will be E, K, R, and W.
Math
Math
Students will continue to count up to 30 and practice number formation. We will explore ways to show number quantities up to 10.
Science
Science
Students are enjoying learning about physical science this month. We will explore movement through liquid as we observe if items sink or float in water.
Social Studies
Social Studies
Students are learning about current events, such as Black History Month and the Super Bowl.
