nited States Marine Band, “The President’s Own”, performs The Stars and Stripes Forever composed by John Philip Sousa. The US Congress passed an act in 1987 making this composition America’s official National March.

The National Symphony Orchestra: Armed Forces Medley

This week we’ll listen to a medley of armed forces marchpasts or military themes that represent each branch of the armed services including; the US Coast Guard, “Semper Paratus” (Always Ready); US Air Force, “Off we go…”; US Navy, “Anchors Aweigh”; US Marine Corps, “The Marine’s Hymn”; US Army, “The Army Goes Rolling Along”.
