Target Heart Rate

What is your target heart rate zone? Why is it important to know your target heart rate? In order to determine or measure the intensity of each workout, calculate your target heart rate zone: Heart Rate Calculator

Your target heart rate zone is 50-70% of your maximum heart rate. It is the zone your heart should stay in during exercise. Staying in this zone will help you increase fitness levels safely.

To find your MAXIMUM heart rate subtract your age from 220.

So, 220- (Your Age) = Maximum Heart Rate.

220-16= 204

Now, calculate your Heart Rate Zone -

204 * 50% = ?

204 * 70% = ?
