Participants

The WG is composed of volunteers who bring diverse perspectives, relevant expertise, and a shared commitment to ethical and culturally grounded data practices.

WG Members

Members are selected by the MVD Oversight Committee, and are expected to participate in all discussions and produce the deliverables specified in the WG Charter. The MVD Oversight Committee may make changes to the composition of the WG at any time during the project to ensure that the WG has adequate and appropriate resources and expertise to conduct its work.

The WG chairs are elected members of the WG who assume the leadership responsibilities of the WG.

WG Alternates

Alternates are experts who may be drawn upon if any working group member is unable to perform their duties. Alternates may, but are not required to, follow all working group discussions.

WG Observers

Anyone can sign up as an observer of the working group. Observers may attend WG meetings virtually to follow discussions.
