Atta Ul Haq is a development professional, digital rights expert, and digital inclusion advocate from Balochistan, Pakistan. He is the Founder and Technical Lead of the Youth Association for Development (YAD), a rights-based civil society organisation advancing internet governance, internet freedom, digital rights, digital inclusion, governance, gender equality, health, and climate justice. With over two decades of experience in policy advocacy, research, and youth empowerment, he has led national and international projects with 39 UN agencies, donor agencies, and partners, including UNDP, USAID, UNDEF, Internet Society, the World Bank, and AmplifyChange. Atta is also a member of the 255 national and international networks. Atta is passionate about bridging linguistic and digital divides to enable meaningful online participation for marginalised and multilingual communities.
