Songo Nore is an Internet Governance and Climate Action professional pursuing an Online MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, with a 75% combined merit- and need-based scholarship. He is also undertaking the “Post-Quantum Cryptography in the Indo-Pacific” program with Monash University, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Holding a BA Honours in Political Science specializing in public policy and political economy, Songo has represented the Pacific region in major global Internet Governance and climate conferences across South Korea, Fiji, New Zealand, the U.S., and Malaysia. He is the Principal of SNOB Consultancy, whose project “Migration of Small Islands Developing States into the Metaverse as a Climate Adaptation Strategy” won the WSIS Prizes 2025 Championship in Geneva. He was also a top 10 finalist in the Climate Launch Pad program for his project on monetizing climate video data as NFTs.
