Wilderness First Aid Class

 Provide a 16-hour Wilderness First Aid course for 15 youth participants, focusing on outdoor safety and first aid skills, specifically targeting activities like camping and hiking. This course will not only to teach essential life-saving skills but also to highlight non-traditional careers in healthcare. 

This course will be open to youth aged 15-18. We plan to offer the training to 15 youth with a $10-$15 registration fee. Additional youth may be added if they pay the full course fee of $200 per participant. This will ensure that the program is available to a wider audience if the demand exceeds initial course capacity.

The course is scheduled to take place in October, November, or December of 2025 depending on advisory committee recommendations of youth interest and availability.
