The Dallas Youth Garden provides an opportunity for 10 high school interns to intern during the summer, and gain work experience, leadership skills, earn school credit, and receive a stipend for their effort. Above all, all the produce they generate from their garden will be donated to local Dallas food Banks and community members.
Applications are due April 11th with interviews the following week
This internship runs from May 1st to the first week of September.

This program provides high school students the opportunity to learn and become confident in knowing how to get a job, their interview skills, and having key job documents such as a resume and a cover letter completed. Students will also have the opportunity to take part in a business panel, mock interview and job shadow at two local businesses. They also will receive a stipend and become top candidates for the upcoming spring internship.

In partnership with local school districts and businesses, high school students, 16 years or older, have the opportunity to obtain real work experience and be able to develop goals, skills, and competencies to help them be job ready. Students will intern with a local business of their choice and will have the opportunity to earn a stipend for their time, just like a job.
The Internship application will be due March 1st, 2026
The program will require 70 hours to be completed and will be 8-10 weeks long
The first day of the internship begins the week of March 30th, 2026
