CNSC Scholarship and Financial Assistance Unit
In keeping with its mission, Camarines Norte State College offers financial assistance to needy but capable Filipino men and women desiring to continue educational programs in the undergraduate levels. The Scholarship and Financial Assistance Unit (SFAU) is the unit charged with facilitating such assistance in the form of scholarship grants and loans.
SFAU serves as the bridge that links the College, its programs, stakeholders, and infrastructure with the benefactors towards the continuing accessibility of CNSC education for the poor yet capable and deserving Filipino. Thus, ensuring that the College’s various scholarship and financial assistance programs are properly administered.

The DOST-SEI announces the opening of applications for the 2024 Junior Level Science Scholarships. Interested and eligible third-year college students may now start downloading the required forms for the application through this link:

Qualifying examination will be held on July 28, 2024 at various test centers.

BFAR FSP CALL FOR APPLICATION
Ang BFAR-FISHERIES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (FSP) ay isang programa na nagbibigay ng scholarship sa mga qualified na incoming Senior High School (Grade 12) students ngayong taon. Ang scholarship na ito ay para sa kurso na Bachelor of Science in Fisheries. Magkakaroon ng National Qualifying Examination sa Nobyembre para sa lahat ng estudyanteng nais maging iskolar.
Ang FSP ay may 3 COMPONENTS
1. Fisherfolk Children Educational Grant(FCEG)
-Para sa mga estudyante na ang mga magulang o tagapag-alaga ay rehistradong mangingisda
2. Fisheries Industry Leaders Grant(FILG)
-Para sa mga estudyante na With Honors o estudyante na kabilang sa honor roll ng klase.
3. Indigenous Cultural Communities(ICCs) / Indigenous Peoples(IPs).
-Para sa mga estudyante na ang mga magulang ay ICCs or IPs na kinikilala ng NCIP.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Ipinanganak na Pilipino.
• incoming Senior High School (Grade 12) ngayong pasukan, Agosto 2022 (or high school graduate sa old curriculum) na hindi pa nag enrol sa college
• Hindi hihigit sa 25 anyos sa araw ng qualifying exam.
• Ang General Weighted Average (GWA) ay hindi bababa sa 80%.
• May good moral character
• Ang mga magulang o taga pangalaga ay residente ng Bikol sa nakalipas na anim na buwan.

• Pwedeng graduate o graduating sa Alternative Learning System (ALS)
• Pwedeng may units na sa college
• Ang general weighted average (GWA) ay hindi bababa sa 75%.

FREE HIGHER EDUCATION UNDER R.A. 10931
The Republic Act 10921 also known as the “Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act of 2017” protects and promotes the right of all Filipino students to accessible quality education by mandating the non-collection of tuitions and other school fees for units enrolled in. The Camarines Norte State College adheres to this mandate and will not require students to pay tuitions and other school fees except for those students who:
have already obtained a bachelor’s degree or comparable undergraduate degree from any public or private HEI;
fail to comply with the admission and/or retention policies of the school;
fail to complete their bachelor’s degree or comparable undergraduate degree within a year after the period prescribed in the program. (R.A. 10931 Rule II Section 6)
voluntarily opt out of the free higher education provision.
Students who are not eligible to avail of the Free Higher Education provision shall be charged tuition and other school fees as determined by the Governing Boards of the school. However, they may apply for financial assistance or discounts through the Institutional Merit Scholarship Program.
