The ACT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. It is a 5 part multiple-choice and writing test (English, Math, Reading, and Science). The purpose of the ACT test is to measure a high school student's readiness for college. Students are allowed to bring a calculator to use on the math section of the test.
