ACCESS 2.0 testing will be in February - March of each school year. Contact Elaine Miller at 980-343-3600 if you have any questions.
ACCESS 2.0 is an online assessment given to our Multi Lingual (ML) students. These are students for whom English was not their first language. We give this test every year usually during February and March. The purpose of the test is to monitor the English proficiency of each student and design instructional strategies to support them.
ACCESS for ELLs:
Is administered to K-12 students who have been identified as Multi-Language Learners (MLLs)
Is given annually to monitor students' progress in learning academic English
Meets U.S. federal requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for monitoring and reporting MLLs’ progress toward English language proficiency
Assesses the four language domains of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
