Mr. Sconduto

Mr. Sconduto brings a wealth of experience in commercial photography and over 15 years of educational expertise to his role at Hopewell High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Art and Design with a concentration in Photography from Cal Poly State University and completed a certificate in Secondary Education in Art subject area at San Francisco State University. Mr. Sconduto is also an Adobe Certified Professional, skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

Prior to his educational career, Mr. Sconduto spent 12 years as a commercial photographer specializing in product imagery for prestigious clients including Apple, The Yoga Journal, and The Sharper Image. His professional experience in the advertising and retail markets not only highlights his creative abilities but also provides him with unique insights that he shares with his students.

Mr. Sconduto has been an integral member of the Hopewell High School faculty for 7 years. Outside of his teaching responsibilities, he is passionate about the outdoors, with hobbies that include backpacking, rock climbing, and motorcycling. Mr. Sconduto is also a talented bass guitarist who performs with local music acts in Charlotte. At home, he is fondly devoted to his pets, a tabby cat named Churro and a parrot called Molly.
