The Health Science Academy is committed to providing students with coursework and experiences in the fields of medicine and wellness services, as well as health and medical administration. Students in the academy will build a foundation for a future in varied medical professions.

The Academy will use a team teaching model integrating the study of health science with core education classes (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) throughout their high school careers, making them college and career-ready. Students will have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field, as well as the opportunity to academically prepare for post-secondary education in the health field.

Teachers in the Academy will be using embedded technology for their instruction. To aid in this endeavor, all students in the Health Science Academy will be issued a laptop computer to use in completing classwork and homework.
