The Academy of Plant and Animal Systems will prepare students for post-secondary opportunities in the 21st- century world of agriculture and/or animal sciences.
The world of agriculture is quickly becoming one of the nation’s fastest-growing and profitable fields. With an increasing global demand for food and decreasing land availability, this industry has renewed interest. Students in this academy will be better prepared to make decisions that have a far-reaching impact on our world. Academy students will have hands-on opportunities with plants and animals and experience the management side of agriculture. The two pathways students can choose between are: Horticulture Production or Veterinary and Animal Science.
