The Academy of Teaching and Learning at West Creek High School prepares students to embark on careers in education such as elementary, middle, high school, or special education teachers, guidance counselors, school psychologists, educational assistants, or roles in administration.

In addition to traditional classwork that addresses the basic roles of a certified teacher and the fundamentals of how children learn, Academy of Teaching and Learning enrollees may have the opportunity to work with elementary school students at West Creek Elementary School, observe different teachers in local middle and high schools, develop lesson plans, teach model classes, and shadow various school employees across the district.
