The Academy of Media Arts and Technology at Rossview High School is for creative students who want to design, create, and tell stories using technology. Academy students will explore graphic design, digital illustration, photography, animation, typography, and visual storytelling using the same professional tools and software used in today’s creative industries.
Students build skills step by step, starting with design fundamentals and advancing to more complex projects using professional tools and software. As students grow in confidence and ability, they prepare to apply their skills in real-world settings. By their senior year, students may participate in work-based learning projects for local non-profit organizations, creating professional-quality designs, collaborating with clients, and building strong portfolios. Students may also earn dual enrollment credit through the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT), giving them a head start on college and creative careers.
