The Engineering and Design Academy at Kenwood High School is for students who like to create, build, and solve real-world problems.  This Academy will help students become confident through hands-on projects and challenges that connect learning across multiple subjects.

Academy students will experience an interactive approach to learning through science, technology, and engineering integration across both CTE and academic classes. In conjunction with traditional lectures, students will work through real engineering problems using teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-based learning. Projects will be designed to mirror real careers in engineering and design, helping students see how classroom learning applies to the real world and prepares them for college and future careers.
